Clarksdale, Mississippi the birthplace of the Blues, soon to be Mississippi's hub of health. The Delta Blues Room, Aaron E. Henry Community Health Services Center (AEH), Commissioner Buster Moton and I Choose Life Health and Wellness Center have joined in partnership to host a day of free health screenings, educational forums and medical referrals. "We will offer free screenings for heart disease and stroke, diabetes, STIs and obesity and will educate the community on how to access healthcare." said Dr. William Booker of Aaron E. Henry Community Health Services Center.
There will be free food provided for completed screenings, karaoke contest and a performance by Blues Singer O.B. Buchana & others...
